Nagios Network Monitoring System
The content of this blog is all about my experiences regarding Nagios. Configuring Nagios is easy when there's a good documentation that can guide you through the whole configuration. This blog doesn't really cover Nagios' overall configuration. What's included in this blog are only the things I knew and experienced.

My First Month Configuring Nagios
It was march 2010 when I first started working with Nagios. Developing a network monitoring system using Nagios was our top priority during that period because it was our project for our senior year project. A tedious job that's what I remember. At first we tried to develop the system based on FreeBSD 8.0 operating system but unfortunately we weren't successful in doing so. Although we somehow managed to develop the system using FreeBSD but there were issues that kinda irritating(hard to fix) that's why we decided to use FAN instead. FAN stands for Fully Automated Nagios. For more details, visit FAN's website. On my next post, I will discuss the configuration we made to our system.
